Business Professionals of America |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Howard High School of Technology has one of the most active Business Professionals of America chapters in Delaware. With over 65 active members, Howard’s chapter is able to provide opportunities that appeal to a wide range of interests and skills.
Howard typically sends more than 40 students to the State Leadership Conference where they contend in a variety of workplace skills competitions. In recent years, Howard has sent multiple state winners to National Conference contests.

Howard BPA also features:
- A Board of six which conducts monthly meetings
- Community Service Projects including, in 2007-2008, Habitat for Humanity and the Polar Bear Plunge (Special Olympics)
- Fundraisers that reduce student costs, including the management of the Wildcat Den School Store and an annual Car Wash
- BPA Week, a school wide event promoting positive themes

Howard Leading Ladies Club
The Howard Leading Ladies Club is a group of 25 young ladies who are dedicated to transforming themselves from girls to ladies. This group is comprised of the top female student leaders at Howard High School of Technology.

Howard C.U.B.S. Program
The Howard C.U.B.S. Program is an extension of the Howard Leading Ladies Club. This club consist of 27 freshmen young ladies. The ladies of the Howard Leading Ladies Club assist these students by serving as their mentors.

Mr and Ms Howard are the student ambassadors for HHST. These students must go through a rigorious process to obtain this honor. They must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 or higher, 30 hours of community service and have assisted their class in their many endeavors...

Homecoming at Howard High School of Technology |

| |
| Homecoming is festive time at Howard. The students participate in a number of activities showing their class spirit. Each class is assigned a different theme from which they are to decorate their assigned hallway. On the Saturday prior to the start of Homecoming festivities, a group of 20 students from each class comes into school to decorate their hall. |

Each year the competition becomes more intense and creative. The classes also compete against each other at the pep rally by participating in Pep Rally Games and a Pep Rally Performance. The games are created by the Student Council Association.
